At Ōtari Raranga Weavers, our mission centres on te taiao and the living landscape of Ōtari–Wilton’s Bush.
Raranga represents far more than craftsmanship; it embodies a sacred practice uniting knowledge, identity, and community through harakeke. We gather to exchange traditional knowledge and creative arts, and to strengthen connections.
We practise collective leadership, standing together much like the kōrari. This guide establishes the cultural foundation and expectations for all who take part.
